At Ad Astra Veterinary Services- it is our goal to provide tailored end-of-life care for your pets.

 

We strive to make the experience as peaceful as possible. We are open to any requests that your family has for the experience. We proudly offer the following as part of our euthanasia packages:

- Pre-visit sedative medications if you feel your pet would be more comfortable having medications prior to our appointment

- Sedation for catheter placement, including strong pain management drugs to ensure comfort for all our patients

- Calming music (interesting fact- studies have shown that dogs and cats prefer reggae- but we will adjust based on your preferences)

- Ink paw and nose prints complimentary, as well as fur clippings if requested

- We are proudly partnered for after-care with Gateway Pet Memorial. They have options for both private and communal cremation, and many memorial items. Please see their website below for all of their offerings:

- If cremation is selected for after-care, complimentary urn drop off can be arranged
